Our Origin
Originally (2001) formed to represent the Paragon Housing Area of Hallglen, a few years later Glen Village housing was brought into to organisation and was renamed "The Hallglen and Glen Village Residents Association"
Since 2001, the association has held public meetings with elected members of the Falkirk Council and the Scottish parliament in attendance, it has also attended private meetings arranged by the Falkirk Council and Paragon Housing to see how we could improve living and social conditions in Hallglen and Glen Village.
Objectives of the Association
To promote the welfare of the residents of the area and to work towards the improvement of housing conditions, amenities and environment.
To provide facilities for recreation and amenity to encourage a community spirit.
For the furtherance of these objectives to represent the interests of the residents in consultation with local authority and other bodies.
To promote the harmonious functioning of a multi-racial community and work towards the elimination of all forms of racism and discrimination within it.
